Haywire Sunreaver Construct is one of the hardest rares on the island, but he is also potentially the most rewarding because he has a chance to drop a Sunreaver Micro-Sentry, a new battle pet. He patrols up and down the beach at Ihgaluk Crag. To defeat Haywire Sunreaver Construct, you must be able to heal through the absurd amounts of damage caused by Haywire.
The Haywire Sunreaver Construct has two abilities. His Crush Armor ability is unavoidable, unremovable, and not worth worrying about. His Haywire ability is the most overpowered ability on any rare in this entire expansion. Haywire does 20k damage a second for 20 seconds and makes the construct so fast that you will never outrun him. He does it every 40ish seconds. The only reason I was able to win is because Ret's self-heals are fairly... powerful in Patch 5.2. I'd recommend a friend for this unless you have a way to heal through the massive damage of Haywire. As you can see in the below video, I dip low a few times despite spamming 50k-100k heals on myself.
Note that I waste time in the above video by trying to outrun it with a stun - truth is that I only end up buying a few seconds and I was probably better off just building holy power to heal myself anyway.
