The Super Simian Sphere is an extremely rare world drop from Wrath of the Lich King content.  In all the time that I played during Wrath - which was a lot of time - I only ever witnessed it drop twice.  (I lost the roll both times. /weep)

The item's effect turns your character into a gorilla inside a sparkly-pink translucent sphere.  It is particularly funny to see when combined with items that make the character larger.  :)

I always thought it was stupid being BoP. And since WotLK hasn't been current for a long time now, it's even more rare that anyone will come across it. =(

In Warlords of Draenor, this item will be added to the new Toy Box feature and no longer take up a bag slot.  You will be able to "use" the item straight from the Toy Box interface. 

The Toy Box will be account-wide and therefore so will this item.
