Here's my carry team, the carry just eats a stun and environmental damage so a lowbie should be ok.
Murkalot: Start with a P/S breed Blighthawk (1,1,1). Open with Lift-off. Then infected claw spam. Those two abilities have a low to high range, if all your hits are on the low, just restart. Why gimp yourself.
Gladiator Deathy: Keep Blighthawk in to eat the Dragonkin Scorched earth ability which he opens with (weak vs Undead). Then swap your carry for Clobber which is next (0 damage stun, though takes 61 damage (not counting weak/strong from racials) from Scorched Earth environment).
Bring in H/S breed Scalded Basilisk Hatchling (2,2,1). Crystal Prison will interrupt his Deep Breath and bring in Murkimus. Thrash until he goes up for Heroic Leap. Feign Death. Your highest HP pet will come in, just swap the Basilisk right back in. Continue thrashing until Murk is dead. Crystal Prison when Deathy comes back in, Thrash to finish him off.
If your Basilisk dies, immediately Consume Corpse with your Blighthawk when he comes in.
I managed to squeak by with a carry pet for this daily pet trainer, so it is possible - but not recommended, at least with the team I cobbled together.
I used a P/S Zandalari Anklerender in my first pet slot. Use Primal Cry first, Hunting Party second, and Devour on the third turn. (The pet will not survive, but it gets the enemy pet low enough to die from its own environmental ability.)
I placed my carry pet in the second pet slot, though it doesn't matter if it's there or in the third pet slot. Choose survival abilities, and don't try it with anything less than a level 20.
In my last slot, I used a H/H Weebomination. Cleave as much as possible, and use Consume Corpse to heal.
